Regulators plan to assess violence against female and minority drivers

“Understanding the prevalence of crimes against female and minority truckers in the United States could help regulators address the problem while potentially increasing the pool of qualified drivers, according to federal officials.” – According to the article in freightwaves.com and its author  John Gallagher

“The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) plans to seek White House approval to assess the size and scope of the issue and has contracted with nonprofit research group Battelle to create and execute a study.” Gallagher also says in his article.

    Well I cat accuse all foreign drivers but I’ve witnessed some from South of Texas border come into the U.s.a. and slam American drivers and country with racist slandering that could definitely incite a problem.
    Not to say an act of violence against them is justified but that attitude can invite a lot of problems.
    Proud American and Driver for 42 years.
