At least one person has died, and 5 others injured in a fiery crash involving five tractor-trailers and at least one passenger vehicle.- According to Louisiana State Police

“Troopers are currently responding to a multiple-vehicle crash with Hazmat on I-10 westbound at milepost 125 (Whiskey Bay). Both lanes of travel are currently closed and traffic is being diverted from I-10 to LA Hwy 415 to US Hwy 190.”- You can read in a post on Louisiana State Police Official Facebook page.

“Both east and westbound lanes of I-10 remain closed. Troopers are assisting with getting vehicles turned around so they may exit the I-10 bridge. Larger vehicles will be allowed to back down the bridge once smaller traffic is cleared.”- According to LSP
