According to Illinois State Police – State Trooper Broke Jones-Story was struck and killed by truck tractor semi trailer while conducting inspection on another semi truck on US Route 20 near Freeport, IL. Accident occurred at around 12:30 pm March 28. Broke was a 12-year veteran of the Illinois State Police.
