Tropical storm Barry expected to become a hurricane when it makes landfall in Louisiana

“Tropical storm Barry inching towards the Louisiana coast. Barry is expected to become a hurricane when it makes landfall later today.
The storm continues to move slowly west-northwestward and will bring impacts to the northern Gulf coast through the weekend. Flooding with being the main concern, both from heavy rain and storm surge.

Barry is expected to disrupt freight movement in the area affected by the storm. FMCSA suspends Hours of Service for truckers delivering help directly to affected areas.
