Two executives of Forza Transportation arrested for stealing $1.4 million from the company
According to Camioneros-De-Laredo-Tx Facebook Page –“Joaquím Violeta Labrador and Francisco Rafael Garcia, executives of Forza Transportation company were arrested and accused of stealing $ 1,400,000 dollars over the course of two years.
Joaquim was arrested by Sheriff’s agents Monday, April 26 at his home north of Laredo and Garcia SWAT officials at a bus stop.
The two were sent to the county jail on an arrest warrant and theft charges in third felony degree, and they were set on a $ 40 K bond, which they covered to get out of jail.
Violeta Labrador held the position of Chief Financial Operations and Garcia was in charge of accounting and human resources at Forza Transportation.
The theft was discovered following an external audit where evidence of cash was obtained which the Sheriff’s Department intervened.
The case will be taken to a grand jury and then to a Laredo court to determine whether they are innocent or guilty. For the crime they are accused they can now receive up to 10 years in prison if they are guilty.”
