Hurricane Dorian, now  Category 2 storm, is lashing South Carolina coast, with rain and sustained winds of up to 110 m.p.h.

By Thursday evening, Hurricane Dorian was about 45 miles from Myrtle Beach, S.C., slowing down as it moved northeastward up the East Coast, according to the National Hurricane Center.

While the eye of the storm is still on the open sea, there is possible that it could make landfall on the North Carolina shore on Friday.
